How It Works
Orion members who meet three qualifiers are eligible to receive a 3% APR discount on qualifying consumer loans.
- Open an Orion checking account
- Make monthly electronic deposits totaling a minimum of $1,000 (Direct deposit, ATM deposits, mobile deposits, and electronic transfers from other financial institutions all qualify)
- Set up automatic monthly payments to your new loan

Qualifying consumer loans do not include credit cards, lines of credit, home equity lines of credit, mortgages, RV's, or any commercial real estate loans. Loans prior to July 1, 2023 do not qualify for relationship banking loan discounts.
A new member books a new auto loan for $30,000 at 60 months, with an interest rate of 10.54%, that monthly payment will be $645.63. If that same member opens a checking share with electronic deposits of $1000.00 and sets up an automatic payment to the new loan, their rate will change, and their monthly payment will change. Their new rate would be 7.54% and their new monthly payment would be $601.86.
